42 bits of Starlight, 2025

42 bits of Starlight is a series of 42 artworks celebrating light, color, space, randomness and chance. It's also meant to be a statement against today's self-obsession.

Technically it has a slight reference to Pixel art as I was using 7x7 and 5x5 pixel sized squares for drawing. Unlike in Pixel art I did not limit the color spectrum and made extensive use of color gradients. The varying patterns occur due to the interference of emerging lines, crossing each other at different angles.
