Collection: Uncanny Flow, 2026

Uncanny Flow is a collection of 50 artworks, of which 15 are here on display. The term traces back to Masahiro Mori's 1970 concept of bukimi no tani — the "uncanny valley" — a threshold where near-human likeness triggers unease rather than recognition. Where familiarity collapses into something subtly, disturbingly wrong.

Uncanny Flow emerges from generative processes that resolve into forms that feel neither entirely natural nor entirely artificial. The eye searches for a source and finds none. The pattern is familiar; the origin is not.
